CAN CAUSE BURNS ON CONTACT. Injuries eyes, skin and mucous membranes on contact. Harmful if swallowed; nausea, vomiting and burninging sensation of the mouth and throat may occur. No adverse health effects are expected with recommended use. Occasional clinical reports suggest a low potential for sensitization upon exaggerated exposure to sodium hypochlorite if skin damage (eg. irritation) occurs during exposure. However clinical tests conducted on intact skin with products containing sodium hypochlorite found no sensitization in the test subject.

Although not expected, heart conditions or chronic respiratory problems such as asthma chronic bronchitis or obstructive lung disease may be aggravated by exposure to high concentrations of vapor or mist.
